Memorial Day River Trip 2011

We went out to the River for Memorial weekend and Brady had the best time! We had a huge group out there: Grandma and Grandpa Schwarz, Aunt Cristin, Uncle Piñata (Steve Cota), Ruthie, Diane, Randy, Tamsin, TC, Loren, Nicole, Heather and Cassie. Braydon sat on a jet ski for the first time and played with the doggies (Roscoe and Monty). he played in the sand and splashed in the water and danced to the music. He is starting to talk a lot now. He would point and say "Boat" and he said "Ki" for kite. He says "Uh oh" all the time now, he'll drop things on purpose just to say it. He's saying "Daddy" and "Mom" and when he wants something he signs more and says "Yes". He says "What's this?" and "This". And he'll repeat words to you if you ask him to say it. He's such an easy going and mellow kid. He LOVES being a clown and entertaining people. He played shuffle board and loves to skip rocks.

Braydon's 16 month old Professional photos

At Stroller Strides a few weeks ago a professional photographer came after class to take photos of the kiddos. She just sent us Bray's photos she took. Check out my little blue eyed man.

Braydon is 17 months old!

Braydon is 1 year and 5 months old today! He is growing so fast and each day is evolving more and more into a little dude. He says "fish" all the time now. He'll say it when he wants Goldfish and when we are at the aquarium. He has also said "horse" and "duck" but doesn't use them regularly. he says "yes" when he wants things and "uh oh" a few times when he's dropped things. He blows kisses and gives lots of Besos (kisses). He is a VERY active little guy. He runs everywhere and loves to climb on things. He'll grab the phone and pace the room while pretending to talk on it. He is a total boy, smashing snails in his hand and playing in the dirt. He LOVES to dance and hum along to songs. He loves M & Ms, peas and scallops. He is a huge helper, he follows Craig and I around trying to copy whatever it is we're doing, whether it's sweeping, gardening or screwing in nails.

We took him to his first Padres game yesterday and he loved it! He would clap and dance when music would come on. He tried to play baseball with all the other little kids too.

Mother's Day

My boys spoiled me on Mother's Day! Craig got me a vacuum, flowers and a Juicy outfit :) The three of us went to brunch at the Sheraton in Carlsbad and then we went to Birch Aquarium. Braydon is an active little guy. He was running all over the place, pressing buttons and climbing on anything he could. He says "shh" for "fish" Later Aunt Cristin came over and Craig made the most amazing dinner while Bray ran around the backyard. he made fish kabobs, shrimp ceviche, ribs and a yummy Hangar steak. I love my family so much and feel like the luckiest Mom in the world!

Braydon's weigh in at 16 1/2 months

We went to the doc and Braydon weighed in at 24 pounds and is 32 inches tall. He is in the 42nd percentile for weight and 66th percentile for height.
