Toy Garage Sale

Braydon's lego obsession is still going strong and he realizes he needs money to buy more legos.  He decided he wanted to sell a bunch of his old toys to make money to buy an Angry Birds lego.  He set the price at $5 per item and collected enough to get him $100 for this particular lego.  Siena wanted to join in so she ran around gathering things too.  She told me she was going to sell her stuff for zero dollars.

They made signs and hung them in the neighborhood to direct traffic to their sale, laid out all the toys on the curb and Siena dressed in a beautiful blue dress she said would make people want to buy toys from her (A total Vanna White already).  Siena ran around the neighborhood knocking on doors and asking people to come to their sale, she definitely takes after Daddy with her sales skills.  She sold three things for a dollar and Braydon was sticking strong to his $5 an item price so he didn't get as many sales until I had to convince him to drop his prices.  When he did he sold two items.  Braydon is determined to sell them all so next step is to post the rest online and what doesn't sell there we will try and sell to a toy consignment store.

The Del Mar Fair

Siena danced at the fair this year doing her recital dance so we took the day to go down and watch her and enjoy the fair!  The Rossittos and Pinos were there too so we all hungout together.  The kids love playing with each other!  We went on a ton of rides, played lots of games and ate yummy fair food.

On our walk back to the car Siena accidentally dropped her fish on the ground spilling it and all it's water out on the hot pavement.  We scooped him back up in the cup and put bottled water in and he survived!  That fish is a survivor!

And we ended the day with a pony ride!  It was the best time!

Father's Day

We woke up and made Daddy breakfast and gave him his Father's Day gift (a new BBQ for camping) and gave him lots of hugs and kisses!  Then we went to the beach and spent most of the day body surfing and splashing in the waves.  After we went to the Rossittos for a BBQ and played in their backyard on a bouncy water slide.  We love our Daddy!!!

8th Grade Buddies

Braydon had three 8th grade buddies this year.  It's the best program, they meet regularly with their buddies and do activities together and they go to Mass together every Friday.  His buddies were Finn, Owen and Cameron.  Braydon really enjoyed his time with them!  They are off to High School so we will miss them!

Kindergarten end of the year

The year FLEW by!  Braydon started school nearly two inches shorter and couldn't read at all.  Now he is reading and writing like a champ!  He passed all 14 of his Sight Word lists and got excellent grades in reading, writing, math, science, computers and PE.  We are so proud of him!  He made many new friends, his best being Broc, Sean, Owen and Braxton and of course Sophia!  All his teachers said he was a really good kid with a big heart.  He learned a lot about God and can now say several prayers including the "Our Father".  He LOVED his teacher Mrs. Winkenhofer and the Aide Mrs. Mann.  He told me his favorite classes are computers and music.

For Father's Day Craig went to Braydon's class and they built a birdhouse together.  They said they had a great time!

Orange County fun - June 2016

We went for the weekend up to Orange County for Adelyn's 1st birthday party and Chris and Cristin's Welcome back from Honeymoon party.  The party was at a park on the beach in Long Beach and we got to hang out with the Smith kids which the kids LOVE.  

And the kids swam all day into the evening at Grandma and Grandpas.

Father's Day at Siena's school (June 2016)

Siena and Craig had a special Father's Day breakfast in her classroom.  They ate bagels, made a clay fish and played with a toy skate park.  Siena was soooo happy to have her Daddy in class with her!

The Tooth Fairy Loves Ballet - Siena our Tiny Dancer

Siena had her second recital on Memorial Weekend and we were so proud of our little ballet dancer.  She danced her heart out to The Tooth Fairy Loves Ballet.  She told me she loves performing!  Sophia and Skylar and Zoe and a bunch of her other friends performed too and we got to watch them.
