A great weekend with friends

We had the best weekend with good friends.  We hung at the Rossitto's Pool at Bressi and BBQed on Friday and spent Sunday at the beach, followed by a BBQ at our place.

Playing football with his best bud Kael.

Braydon's first baseball game

Braydon had his first baseball game and he did great!  He hit a legitimate home run!  He's got a bright future ahead in sports.

Proud lego builder

Braydon created this ship and he wanted to show it off.  He wore the lifejacket just to be silly.  It has a really cool spider web that traps things and Captain America is the driver, and it has a trash can for trash.  He was so proud of his creation and so was I!

Casanova

Braydon got his girlfriend Emery a ring.  He told me that Emery told him to tell his Mom to get her a ring, ha!  These kids are so funny!  He was really nervous about giving it to her.  I told him we could hide it in his cubby until he found the right moment.

Braydon has a fan at Skateboard Camp

Siena loves watching her brother skateboard and cheering him on.  It was so sweet, between tricks Braydon would jump off his board and I've her a huge hug.

Mammoth

We decided to take a trip to Mammoth for a long 4 day weekend so we could hit the slopes as a family.  We picked up the kids from school on Wednesday and took off on the long 6 1/2 hour drive to the mountain.  We had a house rented in Mammoth from Thursday until Sunday but last minute we decided we wanted to head up a day early and try out June Mountain.  We showed up at the hotel we booked at June Mountain around midnight.  We cracked up because we called the hotel to let them know we were coming late and they told us we were the only room rented and they left our room key in an envelope outside the office.  Love the trust they have in their community!  It was actually a great hotel, we had two rooms and a kitchen, would definitely stay there again, it's called the Gull Lodge.

We woke up Thursday morning and hit the June Mountain slopes.  We really liked it there!  It's very family friendly and wasn't crowded at all!  And the snow was great!  We put Siena is ski school and she had a private lesson with an awesome lady named Corey.  She LOVED it!  At the end of the day we tried to ski with her and she told me not to touch her or she'll get frustrated.  She wanted to do it on her own.

Braydon is unbelievably good at snowboarding!  He hung with us all day and rarely fell except when he would try and do jumps and spins.  His confidence is amazing and he loves it.  He has speed too!  I had to try and keep up with him at times.

Chairlift selfie!

After we rode June Mountain all day we headed over to our house we rented in Mammoth with the Smiths and Cristin & Chris.  It was a beautiful, huge house with a playroom, indoor hot tub, bunk beds and plenty of room for all!

Braydon went on his very first black diamond with us at Mammoth Mountain!
