We spend 10 days in the Hawaiian Islands, half of the time in Maui at the family condo in Kaanapali Shores and the latter half in Oahu at the Aulani Disney Resort. It was such a great vacation, one we will always remember and the first time the kids have been to Hawaii! Braydon took up a love of Snorkeling and Boogie Boarding, Siena loved learning the hula and playing on the beach. We spent each day from sunrise to sundown at the beach or the pool. Craig and I scuba dove in Maui which was awesome, we saw Sea Turtles, eel and tons of beautiful fish. We went to the Drums of the Pacific Luau at the Hyatt in Maui and Siena and Braydon were in awe over the fire dancers and Hula girls. Siena called then Firemen. When they asked for Hula volunteers little Siena Rose jumped from her seat and charged up on stage, the first one up there! She's not shy at all!
Aulani was paradise for the kids, they loved hanging out at Auntie's Beach house and making Space Goo with Stitch. We played games at the pool with Goofy and had breakfast with Mickey and Minnie. We watched a Disney Luau and celebrated my 35th birthday with a beautiful sunset dinner at the Ama Ama restaurant. We found some "pet" hermit crabs we kept for a couple days in our room and learned all about the beautiful Hawaiian culture by listening to Uncle's stories by the fire pit. We did a scavenger hunt with an iPad that was super cool. Things would happen all around the resort like a volcano exploding or drums beating. We were so sad to leave and will take those memories with us forever!
