Braydon has taken after his Momma! He is completely obsessed with the Captain Underpants Chapter Book Series. He can't put the books down and reads them day and night. He has abandoned TV, video games, iPads, all he does is read now. I love that he can escape into books the way I do and always have since I've known how to read. I can hear him laugh to himself while reading and he will read a 200 page book in one day. He's two books from the end of the series and I asked him what he planned to read next. He told me he was going to read them all over again, ha!
He even decided to create his own Captain Underpants comic book and we made 15 photocopies to sell to the neighbors. Lemonade stands are a thing of the past, comic book selling stand are the future! He set up a stand outside of the playground and waved the comic book in the air to flag down passing cars or kids on bikes. We have the most loving neighborhood, his comics sold out and he made $25!
