Siena Rose is 2 months old!

Siena is 2 months old already!  She is the best.  Over the past few weeks she has gotten much better with me being able to set her down.  She is happy and content just observing everyone and looking at bright objects.  She talks a lot!  Cooing and making little shrieks.  She has a lot of energy and is always moving and kicking her little feet.  She sucks her left thumb sometimes (taking after daddy when he was a baby) and is extremely alert.  She'll stare straight into your eyes and not break the eye contact, looking straight into your soul :)  She is really strong too!  Already holding her head up for long periods of time and wanting to stand.  Her hands are always in tight fists and will grab anything near her and hold on tight.  She has nearly rolled over a couple times already too!  She LOVES her Mommy and Daddy, I can tell already she'll be a daddy's girl.  He easily makes her smile big smiles for him.  Her first smile ever was for Daddy :)

Braydon is 2 years and 4 months old

Brady is 2 years and four months old! He is a complete crack up and a chatterbox. He loves talking all the time, can count to 20, is pretty good with colors and loves legos. He's really getting into imaginary play lately and plays with swords and battles Zurg with his Buzz doll. He loves to play soccer with Daddy and basketball with Mitch (our 13 year old neighbor). He's got a ton of friends and is starting to like school more and more. He tells us how he plays with Miles and Oben and his teacher told us that there was a new kid and school and Braydon showed him around. He loves to make us laugh and his favorite thing is to "Cheers" us at the dinner table with his sippy cup. He has us read hi at least 4 books every night saying "One more" after each book. Then when we leave he continues reading the books to his Baby Sister doll or Buzz doll until he falls asleep. Sometimes I will hear him singing to himself in bed too. He loves baby sister and has been buddying up with Daddy a lot more lately. They will wrestle and tickle each other.

Siena is 1 month old!

Our little princess is one month old already! Time is flying by. She is the sweetest most delicate little baby. She is much different than Braydon already. She ALWAYS wants to be held and will cuddle with Daddy while he watches hockey or basketball on the couch. She will loudly yell at you if you aren't holding her the way she likes or is hungry and she HATES getting her diaper changed. She screams her head off every time. She has a bit of acid reflux so we have had a hard time with her sleeping at night. She has had to sleep on my chest semi upright. That is until I found this great invention called the rock n nap bassinet. It's the only thing she will sleep in besides her blue vibrating chair. She also has had a pretty bad cold the past week and has trouble breathing at night because of her congestion. The poor thing. I guess that's what happens when you're the second baby and your big brother comes back from daycare with lots of germs.

We are so happy with our addition to our family. She is so sweet and perfect, we couldn't love her more. Braydon is so great with her too, they will cuddle with each other while watching "Ice Age" and Braydon will hold her paci in her mouth for her.

Easter 2012

On Friday we went to our Friday play group and had an Easter Egg hunt at the playground. Braydon, Zoe and Sophia and another boy Jessica was watching all had a blast running around collecting eggs.

On Saturday the Greene's came to visit for their spring break and we have had the best time! We announced to Kim that she was going to be Siena's Godmother and she was thrilled. On Easter Sunday we went to the sunrise mass at the Flower Fields and then had breakfast at The Daily News Cafe. After we went back to our house and had an Easter Egg hunt with Braydon, Jake and Jesse. It was Braydon's first hunt where he actually understood the concept. He was a total crack up. He would get overly excited every time he found an egg. The best was when he found the Buzz Lightyear spaceship egg. He dropped his basket and ran around the yard with it making spaceship sounds. Meanwhile Jake and Jesse were on the hunt for the Golden Egg which had $20 in it. Siena was dressed in a pretty pink Easter dress and hung out with Uncle Rick on the coach watching the Masters during the hunt.

Later in the afternoon Grandma & Grandpa Schwarz and Aunt Cristin came over with a bunch of food and we had a delicious Easter dinner. They brought ham, a salad and yummy side dishes and desserts. It was a great time!

On Tuesday Kim, Jake and Jesse took Braydon to Disneyland which he was looking forward to for months! I kept telling him he was going to Disneyland on Tuesday and every day he would wake up saying "It's Tuesday!" They went on the Buzz ride twice and Mr Toads Wild ride and Pirates and he hung out with all the Poo characters.

Braydon is so sweet with Siena. It's been two weeks and he still wants to hold her all the time and tickle her neck and rub her head. There are so many sweet moments between them. Above are some pictures I've been able to capture.

We got a 3D TV and DVD player. Braydon watched his first 3D movie and was glued to it. It was "Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs". Here are some funny photos.
