4th of July - Park City, Utah

We had a big Wilder family reunion in Park City over the 4th of July to spread Great Grandpa Wilder's ashes.  It was a great time.  I flew out on Monday the 1st with the kids all by myself which was a bit of a challenge.  Siena does not like to sit still so airplanes are a challenge for her.  She has a Sassy attitude and cries when big brother doesn't let her have something she wants or is told not to do something.  The kids loved looking out the plane window though.  Braydon would shout "look at the ocean Mommy!'  or "look at the boats!"

The kids were so excited to spend the week with Mimi, Grampy, The Greenes and the Steeles.  We had a beautiful house that was walking distance to everything!  At Park City Resort they had a ton of kid rides, an Alpine Slide, Alpine Coaster, Zipline, Merry Go Round, Train, etc.  We made a trip there at least once every day.  Braydon loved the Coaster and slide.  Siena could only go on the Merry Go Round but she loved people watching and spending time with her cousins.

On the 4th there was a huge parade through town, the kids loved it!  They ate popsicles and danced to the music.  That night we went to the Salt Lake City Firework show where Chuck (my Dad's best friend, who is head Pyrotechnic) set up a special tribute for Grandpa Wilder.  My Dad set it off.  There were 95 salutes and 125 fireworks that looked like snowflakes in honor of Grandpa's love of skiing.  They announced him over the loud speaker.  It was pretty amazing.  Craig stayed back at the house with Braydon and Siena because Siena couldn't stay up that late.  Bray and Daddy watched the fireworks together over the Park City mountain.  Bray couldn't stop talking about how cool it was.

On the 5th we spread Grandpa's ashes at Alta Ski Resort on his favorite lift with all 30 Elmers and the Bastings and Polhemous family.  It was a beautiful moment with Wildflowers everywhere.

Braydon and Siena had the best time and Braydon can't stop talking about wanting to go back to Utah with all his cousins.  Siena had a great time too, she loved dancing for her cousins and clapping.  At the airport on the way home she would wave and say "Bye" to everyone.

My 33rd Birthday

It was a mellow birthday but one of my favorites.  Craig cooked me dinner at home and Braydon and Siena were so cute and fun.  They sang over and over and Bray and Siena helped me blow out the candles :)  On Wednesday we celebrated again at Benihana's.  It was Siena's first time and she loved it!  All the loud noises and food to eat!  Braydon was a ham too, wearing the chef hat and playing into the show and making everyone laugh at the table.

Father's Day 2013

We love Daddy!  He is such a hardworking, loving man and we appreciate him so much!  Braydon looks up to him and Siena just adores him.  On Father's Day, Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Tistin came down to celebrate with us.  I made Craig a huge Corned Beef and hash breakfast (his favorite), got him a new set of irons and Braydon made him a mug.  We spent the day at the beach and had so much fun in the sun.  We built sandcastles, ran up and down sandy hills, looked for shells and buried each other in the sand.  We also watched Daddy surf and clapped and cheered every time he caught a wave!

After we went home and BBQed Steak, cooked crab legs and scallops and ate our hearts out while the kids ran around and played in the back yard.  A perfect day!

Visiting GG

We visited GG for Mothers Day, the kids love it there!  Braydon gets lots of candy and cookies from GG and her friends and the best is getting to take a ride around the halls on her walker.  The kids fought over their turns.

Mothers Day 2013

I had such a great Mother's Day and feel so fortunate to have such a loving and wonderful family!  I was spoiled all day!  We went to brunch at La Auberge and then spend the day at the beach in Del Mar with the Sjoboms.  Then Craig cooked dinner for us.   I feel so loved and appreciated!!!
