On My Tiny Toes - Siena's first Dance Recital

For the past several months Siena has been practicing her recital dance for her big performance.  Carlsbad Dance Center puts on a huge show every Memorial weekend and it's a huge deal.  Her class is all three year olds and they danced to the song "On My Tiny Toes".  Siena is sooooo into it, she loves to dance!  She was positioned in the center of the routine and had to make sure she stayed by the X mark to keep everyone in place.  When she's dancing she throws her whole body into the moves and belts out the lyrics at the top of her lungs.  Mimi and Grampy and the Greene's came down and stayed with us all weekend for the big performance.  Siena's act was on Sunday and her class was first which was so exciting.  The curtains opened up and there was little Siena Rosey with her hands on her knees front and center ready for the show.  I got teared up when I saw it, so proud of our Tiny Dancer!

Siena insisted on getting her toes and nails painted for the show.  Such a girly girl.

Mothers Day weekend in Palm Desert

Mimi and Aunt Louise and my cousin Jen and her family were all spending Mother's Day weekend at our condo in Tancho Mirage so we decided to go out there too.  We got a room for two nights at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas on the golf course.  Braydon still talks about the weekend and says he wants to go back and relive it all over again.  The Rossittos were there as well and Nicole and Loren and their two little girls so Braydon and Siena had a ton of friends to play with.  Braydon LOVED his second cousins Mackenzie and Taylor.  On Friday night we went to dinner at the restaurant at the hotel and celebrated Mimi's birthday, after we hangout by the fire pits and danced to live music.  The kids tried to catch frogs on the golf course as well.  On Saturday we hit the pool at 8am and stayed until 5pm floating in the Lazy River and playing in the beach and water.  Braydon went down his first big waterslide and became addicted, he went on it over and over again.  That night we ate dinner at Las Casuelas and then went back to the hotel to hang by the fire pits again.  We had a wild golf cart  ride back to our hotel, the guy took us on sidewalks and not he golf course.  On Sunday, Mother's Day, we got a Cabana by the pool and played all day in the sun again.  It was PERFECT.  The kids were absolutely wiped out on the car ride home.

Kael's 5th Birthday Party

Braydon's best bug Kael had his 5th birthday party at Pump it Up.  They jumped on bounce houses, went down slides and through obstacle courses.  They played fun games and ate pizza.  A fun celebration with good friends!

The end of football season

It was a great season!  Braydon made new friends and learned the fundamentals of football.  Coach TJ and Coach Mike did a great job and the boys had a blast.  We celebrated the end of the year with a trophy ceremony at That Pizza Place.  Braydon got a huge trophy and he was awarded "Best Juke Moves"

Mother's Day brunch at Braydon's school

We had brunch at Braydon's school for Mother's Day and Braydon gave me flowers and drew me a drawing of all my favorite things.  He is the sweetest, most loving little boy.  I'm a lucky Momma!

Flower fields with the Rossittos - April 7th

We played hooky from school and spent the day at the Flower Fields with Jessica, Soph and Garm (Soph's Grandma).  We did a scavenger hunt where you look for flags and stamp a paper where that station is.  The kids loved it!  We also went on a wagon ride, played on the playground and panned for gold.  At the end we got two containers of ladybugs that we let go in our backyard.  I got Braydon a bug sucking gun that he had a blast capturing the loose ladybugs in.
