Summer fun with friends!

This has been such a fun summer!  We have been fortunate to be able to get in a ton of pool time with friends.

Bryce is 1 month old!

A month has flown by!  Bryce has completed our family in the best way.  He is strong and sweet and loves to eat!  He has already learned to smile and coo and holds his head up by himself for long periods of time.  He is 22.5 inches long and weighs 11 pounds and 7 ounces.  He has been averaging a weight gain of 2 ounces per day and is in the 80th percentile for height and weight.  

Kilcullens visit

The Kilcullens came to Carlsbad to visit.  We hung out at their hotel pool (Cape Rey) and had dinner.  The kids play so well together!  Charlie kept hugging Siena and Connor and Daniel played fish with Braydon.  It was great catching up with our Sebastopol friends!

Summer camps

It's hard to believe summer is only a few weeks away from being over.  It FLEW by.  The kids did a bunch of camps with old friends and new friends.  They did swim lessons every day and Siena learned to swim!  Braydon got really good at his strokes and learned to dive off the diving board.

Siena & Braydon did 3 weeks of Kidsgames where Braydon did Karate, Basketball and Legos.  They learned about God and sang songs and played.

Siena also went to camp at her school Coast Kids where she did art and got to see all her best friends from school (Zoe, Tyce, Evie, Grace, Sienna Miles).

Braydon did Smash Lab camp with Broc, Colt, Caden & Nico.  He absolutely LOVED it.  They took hammers and screwdrivers and smashed computers and eggs and watermelons.

The next week Braydon did Lego Camp with Broc and Nico and said it was his favorite camp of the summer so far.  They built with Teknetic legos which have motors.

The Greene's visit

The Greene's came down to visit for a week to meet baby Bryce and hang with the kids.  We went to the beach and played in the sand and the boys all went to the Padres vs Giants game and got to go on the field during batting practice.

On Sunday they took Braydon and Siena to Disneyland for three days!  The best Auntie and cousins ever!  The kids were in heaven and Craig and I got some quality alone time with Bryce while they were playing.

They got to stay at the Paradise Pier hotel and watch fireworks from the room. 

Our little thrill seeker Siena went on the Cars ride twice and Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain.

A highlight of the trip was meeting the Zootopia characters.

And Braydon got to be a Jedi in training!   Something he's been dying to do forever!

Aunt Cristin and Uncle Chris fly down to meet Bryce

Uncle Chris is a pilot so he and Aunt Cristin flew down to Palomar Airport in a small airplane and we greeted them when they landed.  The kids loved it!  Craig went up in the air with Chris and took the "wheel" for the first time.  It was a great experience.  

Lil Browski

Braydon and Siena LOVE their little brother to pieces!  When they walk in the door they don't even barely say hi to me anymore, they run straight to Bryce and hold him and hug him and kiss him.  Braydon calls him Little Browski which we think is pretty funny.  Braydon stares at him and talks about how cute he is or "Mom, he's going to have curly hair" or "Look he's smiling in his sleep".  He's a very loved little boy!
