Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving holiday was action packed!  The Greene's came to visit for a long weekend and Brady had a blast playing with Jake & Jesse as usual.  We had Thanksgiving dinner at our house and the Schwarz's came over too.  We celebrated Daddy's 33rd birthday on actual Thanksgiving and stuffed ourselves with delicious food and desserts.  We took Braydon to his first ever movie at Cinepolis in Del Mar.  We saw "Wreck it Ralph" in 3D.  Braydon LOVED it!  We also took a drive through Del MAr's Holiday Lights.  On Sunday the Ravens (Uncle Chad's team) came to town to play the Chargers so we threw a huge tailgate party for Craig's birthday.  We got to go on the field before the game which was really cool.

Siena Rose is 8 months old

Our sweet little fun loving girl is 8 months old!  She is growing so quickly before our eyes.  Here are some highlights:

CRAWLING - She is an expert crawler now.  She's all over the place, following us everywhere and exploring the world around her.

STANDING - She loves to stand, pulling herself up on furniture, chairs and anything that will boost her to standing.  

LAUGHING - She laughs all the time, it's the sweetest sound ever!

TEETHING - She finally broke through her gums with a bottom tooth, it's not all the way out yet and is razor sharp.

Brady knows how to melt my heart!

Brady ran up to me this morning with a huge smile (in his Red Power Rangers costume) and said "Mommy can I give you a bear hug?"  I said "Of course sweetie" and knelt down to receive my huge hug and he planted an even bigger kiss on my lips.  Then he grabbed me by the shoulders, looked me in the eye and said "Mommy, I love you very much!" This kid is going to be a heartbreaker.  He made my week :)  Moments like these make the world feel like it's stood still and there is nothing more important to me than being the best Mom I can possibly be.

Siena's 7 month doc appt

Siena weighs in at 15 pounds and 7 ounces and is 26 inches long.  Our little peanut is in the 17th percentile :)

Siena crawling at 7 months!

Siena is officially a crawler.  She started officially on October 29, 2012.  She began with a couple moves and now she is mastering it.  She is also pulling herself to standing.  She is a very busy and happy little girl.  She grabs at EVERYTHING.  The funniest is when she has her sights set on Monty's tail and crawls around after him trying to grab it.

Halloween Festivities

Halloween was so much fun this year!  Braydon was so much fun to experience it with and dressing sweet little Siena Rose up was the best.  We went to the Pumpkin Patch twice, carved pumpkins (a Buzz Lightyear one and a silly one), baked pumpkin seeds and trick or treated.

Brady dressed up as a Red Power Ranger and Daddy was a Green one (per Braydon's insistence).  He wanted me to be a yellow one and sister to be a pink one but we couldn't find the costumes, so Siena dressed as a pumpkin instead.

At Braydon's school everyone dressed up and they went Trick or Treating down the hallways at each classroom.  It was the cutest thing ever!  That night we went to our neighbors for pizza and then went around our neighborhood knocking on all the doors.  Braydon LOVED it.  He loves to play with all the older boys on our block and they are so sweet and patient with him.  He's such a clown too, he makes everyone laugh and is the center of attention.

Brady is 2 years & 10 months old

Braydon is the most hilarious little boy I have ever met.  He says and does the funniest things.  He is a chatterbox and loves to tell us what to do, he's the boss man in his eyes.  He is getting really pumped up for Halloween, he wears his Red Power Ranger costume (which he picked out) practically every day.

FAVORITE FOOD - He is a huge snacker.  If it were up to him he'd snack all day long.  A few of his favorite go to snacks are Pistachios and trail mix.  He also loves Bananas and Apples.

FAVORITE MOVIE - Lorax, Hoodwinked, Jungle Book, Clutch Powers Lego Movie

FAVORITE TV SHOW - Yo Gabba Gabba, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and NinjaGo

FAVORITE TOYS - NinjaGo characters, Power Rangers, swords, guns, Cars

FAVORITE ACTIVITY - Wrestling with Daddy, playing football

NAPS - Still doing them but tries his hardest to skip them, sometimes he does but will pass out in the car later.

HIS SISTER - He loves her so much, he thinks she is the best!

SCHOOL - He is having a blast at school now, he tells us all about his day, his friends and what he learns.

TUESDAY & FRIDAY - For some reason he is always saying we are going to do things on Tuesday or Friday.  An example is I will ask him if he wants fruit with his lunch and he will say "No, no today, on Tuesday."  Or he will ask if we can go to Disneyland on Friday :)

NEGOTIATIONS - Bray is a big negotiator just like Daddy.  Always trying to talk his way into cookies or presents.  One time we asked me for three tootsie rolls, I said no, one, he said no three and it went on like this until I finally said okay how about two?  I felt bamboozled!  How did he talk his way into getting two tootsie rolls when he should have had none.  I'm a sucker.

SHOWERS - He won't take Bath's anymore, just showers with Daddy.

Siena Rose is 7 months old

Our little smiley princess is 7 months old!  She is growing so fast!

MOVEMENT - She is ALMOST crawling, she gets up on her hands and knees and rocks and pushes herself backwards but hasn't mastered the forward crawl just yet.

FOOD - She is eating solids two times a day now, her favorite is Sweet Potatoes.

LAUGHS - She laughs REALLY hard when you kiss her neck or nose :)

FUNNY FACES - She does this hilarious scrunchy face and snort when she gets excited about something

SLEEP - Not doing very well with that right now, still wakes Mommy and Daddy up about three times each night.

REMOTE CONTROLS - She has an obsession with remote controls :)

MONTY - She loves him, if he gets close she tries to kiss him and will laugh.

DADDY'S GIRL - She LOVES her Daddy, she gets really excited when he comes around and likes to cuddle with him on the couch.
