It's a girl!!!

The finger is pointing to her lady parts.

We went in for a 3D ultrasound yesterday and found out we are having a little girl! We are still thinking of naming her Sienna unless another name pops up before March. Braydon had skipped his nap so he fell asleep in the car on the way there and slept in Daddy's arms through most of the appt. When we were listening to Sienna's heart beat it woke him up and he was astonished at the sound. The technician had the monitor projected on a big screen so we got a good look at her. She was moving around a bit which was cool to see. We are so excited and feel so lucky to be getting our precious little girl we've been wanting so bad. I can't wait to go shopping for her and get cute little dresses and bows :)

Brady at 21 months old

Braydon is 21 months old already! We went to the doc yesterday and he is 34 inches tall and 25 pounds. He is a huge chatterbox lately and full of energy and laughs. He bosses Monty around and loves to play chase with Mom and Dad and wrestle Dad. He's very good at communicating now and will tell me exactly what he wants. He is very happy go lucky and so social. We call him the Mayor because he always will give a big welcome to everyone in the room and when he leaves he shouts "Bye, Bye!" to everyone several times while waving. He gets REALLY excited about things lately and will make his mouth into a big "O" like he's shocked when he sees something that amazes him.

I have been only working 2 days a week lately so I have gotten to hangout with Bray a ton. I can't get enough of him! He's my little buddy and the love I feel for him is bigger than anything in the universe.

Brady's 1st day of Daycare - 20 months old

Nap time, Bray is behind the toy box in the front, you can see his lion pillow pet.

Snack time, Braydon is in the middle between the two tables with his chair pushed out.

We decided to put Braydon in daycare two days a week. He isn't getting enough stimulation when he is home all day and we want him to get the socialization with other kids. We are taking him to Carlsbad Country Day School, it's right up the road from us, if it weren't for a big hill you could walk there. He will be in the Toddler area until he's 2 and then transition to a classroom with 4 of his friends that have birthdays in November and December like him. They have cameras so you can watch him. Craig and I both took him and when we got there he went immediately to playing. I got a little sad because I feel like my baby is growing up so fast! When we left he didn't even notice because he was so busy. He's hilarious with little girls, we call him Casanova. For some reason he takes a huge liking to blond girls around 3 or 4. He will grab them in huge bear hugs and hold their hand, dragging them all over the place to play.

Grandma and Grandpa Schwarz watched him all day on the camera and gave us play by plays (I couldn't access it from work). They said he was the first to go down for a nap and was running around with some little girl a lot of the day. He had a blast! When I went to pick him up, he and 12 other little kids his same age were all sitting around plastic picnic tables snacking. When he saw me he didn't even get up, he just waved :) Some other little brown haired boy ran up and hugged my legs. After Bray took a few chugs of his water he came over to me and grabbed my hand, dragging me around the room to show me all the toys he had been playing with throughout the day. The teacher said he had a sunny disposition all day and was so easygoing.

12 week ultrasound

I had my 12 week ultrasound and got to see Baby Schwarz #2. Braydon came with which was pretty comical. It was an hour long ultrasound because she was checking all the organs and limbs so Braydon's attention span was tested. At first he got really upset because he thought I was getting attacked by the ultrasound lady when she put the device on my stomach, I had to have him sit next to me. The technician was really good with him. She made a smiley face with the go on my belly and that made Braydon happy. Once he calmed down he got really playful, pointing to the screen saying "Baby!" and he took his power drill and was pretend shooting the technician with it. He was rambling excitedly about something and pointing all over the room which made the technician laugh really hard. The baby looked really healthy and is growing fast! My due date moved up to March 19, 2012.

Braydon's first NFL football game

We took Braydon to his first NFL game last night and had the best time! It was a Charger home game vs. the 49ers. Dad's favorite team (the Chargers) vs. Mom's favorite team (the Niners). I wanted him to wear red and gold but Daddy got his way with him wearing Charger blue. We showed up at the game an hour and a half before. Braydon was most excited about the train (trolley) that we parked by and got really excited every time it would go by. He would point and go "oooooo choo choo!"

When we got into the stadium a full blues band was playing and Braydon was in heaven! He was mesmerized by them and sat right in from of the stage and danced. Later when we walked by and the band wasn't playing anymore the drummer waved us over. He said he noticed Braydon watching them and wanting him to have his drum stick! Braydon was so happy and played his drumstick all over the place the rest of the game.

When we got to our seats it was sensory overload for the little guy. He watched the Jumbotron intently and pointed to the cheerleaders (takes after his Dad) and would clap when everyone else clapped. He would point and say "Bu ball!" When they did the team intro and they ran out of the tunnel and fireworks went off Braydon couldn't believe his eyes! We stayed until the end of the first half and watched the band again at half time, then left. Braydon was sooo tired he almost fell asleep in Daddy's arms on the walk to the car.

I can't wait to take him to his next game. He was so much fun.

Braydon is 20 months old and we are celebrating 3 years of marriage

Today is mine and Craig's 3rd wedding Anniversary and our little man is 20 months old. We are so blessed to have such a fun loving son. He brightens our lives and fills our home with so much love and laughter. I feel so fortunate to have two incredible boys in my life and another little peanut on the way.

Braydon is a major ham! He loves socializing. Whenever we go anywhere he waves and smiles at everyone and will randomly start playing tag with kids in stores or restaurants. He makes these impish faces when he knows he's about to do something I might not approve of. He'll test his boundaries as much as possible. He'll start walking off and slyly wave to me while shrugging his shoulders saying "Buh bye!" and I'll say, "No Braydon, stay here" and he'll stop for a moment. Then he'll slowly side step away and say "Buh Bye" and I'll say "No Braydon, stay here!" and it will continue on and on that way as if one of these times I'll change my mind. He's a persuasive little bugger.

He also loves to go potty on his little toilet trainer seat. He will ask me to take off all his clothes while he says "pee, pee, co,co" and will get completely naked and sit on his seat and pee. The toilet makes a cheering noise when he goes and he'll get really excited and claps.

He loves to tickle and be tickled. He'll raise his hands up in front of his face and wiggle his fingers and run up to you and tickle you. He's a crack up!

Lake Tahoe August 2011

Braydon and I flew to Tahoe to meet up with Mimi and Grampy Wilder, Jesse and Wendy and Dylan on August 6th. On the following Thursday Craig flew up to meet us and Kim, Rick and Jake came as well. We had so much fun!! Braydon was in heaven up there. He and Dylan were hilarious together. Braydon is 19 months old and Dylan is almost 15 months. Bray would try and hug her and tickle her and I think she would get irritated which made it that much more funny. Jesse and Jake were sooo cute with the little cousins, they played with them all day, taking them to the pool, playing ball and just running around.

Braydon went Kayaking a bunch which he LOVED. He would point and say "Boat!" and then run over to it and climb in until someone took him. He would chat the whole time he was in the Kayak pointing to the water saying "Fish!" and "Duck!" Bray and Dylan also went on a couple bike rides with us in the carrier behind the bike. They hated their helmets but overall had a good time.

We went sailing a couple times too which of course Braydon had a blast doing as well. We played music on the boat and Bray and Dylan would dance. Dylan does this dip thing with her body and Bray points his fingers and moves his arms up and down. They both have very serious dancing faces like they are concentrating on their moves.

Lake Powell

We went on a week long vacation with Grandma and Grandpa Schwarz and Aunt Cristin to Lake Powell. We rented an RV and drove there and stayed on a houseboat. It was a fun adventure and Braydon had a blast! He caught his first fish! It was a catfish. He is a born fisherman, once he learned how that's all he wanted to do. He also LOVEs boats and always wants to try and drive them. He will sit on Dad's lap and "drive" and if he saw dad's hand was on the wheel he would push it off as if to say "I got this Dad, I'm driving". He even says "I drive boat". He said "fish" a lot on the trip too. His other favorite thing to do was sit on the beach and throw rocks into the water. He calls them "Gocks". Every morning when he gets up his says "Nimi", "Caw" or "Buzz" and points to the TV. That means he wants us to put on Finding Nemo, Cars or Toy Story. Then he will sit in his little chair with his "Jujuce" and watch the TV attentively. When Dad would take off in the boat Braydon waves and yells "Buh bye daddy, Buh Buh Boat!"

We explored lots of cool canyons and stayed at several different coves. We fished and relaxed and swam. It was a great trip!
